Who we are
calculadora.work is an independent project launched in 2026 with a simple mission: deliver genuinely useful, fast, and free online calculators in three languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish). No invasive tracking, no forms to fill before calculating, no hidden paywalls. You open, calculate, get on with your life.
The site is maintained by santacroce.es, based in Spain with Brazilian roots — which explains why we cover topics like Brazilian CLT salary and Spanish nómina with the same depth.
Why this project exists
Most online calculators fall into one of two traps: either they're spammy sites loaded with pop-ups, intrusive ads, and tracking scripts, or they're static blog pages with a formula written in text and no working tool. We saw a gap for the middle ground: professional tools, trustworthy content, clean design, and privacy respect.
Our commitment is to build the definitive version of each calculator, with:
- Verified formulas sourced from authoritative bodies (WHO, US IRS, Spanish AEAT, BIPM/SI, IUPAC)
- Deep, original content on every page — not just the calculator, but a real explanation of what it does, practical examples, and answers to common questions
- Genuine translation, not machine — each language is reviewed by a native speaker
- Privacy by default — all calculations run in your browser, nothing is sent to servers
What we cover
We're building a broad catalog covering finance (compound interest, ROI, loans, salary calculators), health and fitness (BMI, TDEE, hydration, ideal weight, running pace), unit conversions (length, weight, volume, energy, pressure, and 8 more), math, dates, daily life (fuel cost, how many pizzas to order), and much more. The target is 250+ useful calculators by the end of 2026.
Each calculator is developed with input from professionals when expertise is required — doctors for health formulas, accountants for labor calculations, engineers for technical conversions.
How we sustain the project
The site is free and will stay free. To cover server, domain, and development costs, we display discreet Google AdSense ads. These ads comply with European (GDPR) and Brazilian (LGPD) privacy regulations, with a consent banner as required by law.
